This game uses the same music, sound effects, and many of the art assets as the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Decade Duels matches. Duelsĭuels are played exactly like the real life counterpart card game. Initially only the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series is unlocked with the others needing to be unlocked. Each series has multiple "towers" which are a series of matches in progression to complete. The series are the original Yu-Gi-Oh!, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, and finally Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL. Once starting the game there are four Yu-Gi-Oh! series to play through. At this point IN4-M8 will explain that in order to unlock more cards, the opponents must be defeated and offers to train the player with a tutorial. The player will then be asked to choose an avatar image. When starting the game for the first time players will be greeted by IN4-M8 which is a robotic Virtual Duel Simulator.

Travel throught the deck editor is not as complicated as the modern portable games too. The editor is also very complete, with lots of card effect filters, and you can even choose the exact ATK/DEF values that you are looking for. Zexal focus too much on XYZ Summons.īut this is the best YGO videogame for the PC.
Other games like Zexal Duel Carnival and the Tag Force Series seems great, but none of them have such well made editor (travel through menus and filters can be an headech, in OtN you could find any kind of card effect you want with just 3 or 4 touches or clicks at most, and even look up for related cards). Although I like more Woldwide championship 2011: Over the Nexus, which has more than 230 opponents to challenge, a world to explore, and a very easy-to-use deck editor, a lot of endgame content, with 60 card packs and 21 decks to unlock For me, it’s the best ever-made YU GIOH card videogame.Sure, the memory mini-game to get the 6 prize cards from the NPCs can be a pain, but you also get DP to buy more cards. The game is fun, and this version seems lighter than the previous one.
